Our October photograph and caption is from Virginia, a local customer, featuring a French relative collecting a baguette with their W. Martyn Hessian bag:
“Whenever they are in London, I always take my French cousins to Martyn’s, and have given them many gifts from my favourite Muswell Hill shop.
The Martyn’s jute bag I bought them a couple of years ago has come in particularly handy for carrying their baguettes.
They’ve also sent a message (which I’ve translated) saying:
Martyn’s products are wonderful, the shop is unique and there is always a warm welcome.
